Great Day!
Posted on 11.23.07 by itscrazydelicious @

Well I hope that everyone had that great day yesterday. And now it is time to enjoy all of those great left overs. Sometimes I think that the left overs are even better than the actual meals….sometimes. I just love to have that turkey and that cranberry sause sandwich on wheat bread. It is just a great snack or lunch to have!

Soaking
Posted on 11.23.07 by itscrazydelicious @

I was a little lazy as far as the cleaning has been going since yesterday. Be sure not to do this on Christmas because it is not very good to have a ton of dishes and pans hanging over your heads. The best thing to do is to clean up as you go along but sometimes it is just overwhelming as well as just exhausting. But try to keep up with it…it will save you a lot of cleaning later!

School Lunchs
Posted on 10.23.07 by itscrazydelicious @

I am just so disgusted the school lunches these days. I mean yogurt and cereal is just not a suitable lunch if you ask. And neither is mozarella sticks…that is an apitizer not a lunch for pete sakes. I would not have my child have that because it is not good for you for one and it relaly is not filling at all. Need some veggie’s in there that is for sure!

Great Ice Cream
Posted on 10.22.07 by itscrazydelicious @

Ok – I just went out for ice cream at a place called Cold Stones that I have never been to before. This ice cream is out of this world and the way they put what you want together is so cool. They put your choice of ice cream on a stone and then the mash in all of the other ingredients you want in it. And they have so many great toppings to choose from – candy, syrups…you name it. And it is just delicious. I am just so glad I stopped at this place to have a snack today!

Getting Halloween Candy
Posted on 10.08.07 by itscrazydelicious @

Where do you get your Halloween candy? I usually get it from CVS or the local store but they charge just so much if you ask me. So, I have been searching online for great candy buys and I am ordering them now..although the sooner I get the candy the more chances I will be eating it before Halloween even arrives and then I will not only have spent all the money on candy but I would have eaten it all and still have to go out and overspend for it!!

Cook With Your Kids
Posted on 09.08.07 by itscrazydelicious @

I think it is a great thing to introduce to your child. Here is the thing though….alot of people are always worried about the mess that comes along with it…that is ok. Let your child make a little mess. As long as they are not doing it on purpose then what is the harm. It is find as long as you also teach them to clean up. That is very important. Help them clean up but show them how and start them with this early. Otherwise they will never clean up and sometimes certain things have a special clean up process. Have fun!!!

Cook To Music
Posted on 09.02.07 by itscrazydelicious @

I just got an ipod and I know I am so behind the times. But I just love to cook and even clean to the music. It just makes it so much more enjoyable. And now there are these ipods that you can get that hook up under your cabinets. That is something that I am looking into. But if you like to cook – try it to music. Just be sure to concentrate and put that timer on. That is the only draw back – I got a little distracted with the music and I almost ruined my dish. It wasn’t that big of a dish but still!!!

Chestnut Shells Opened
Posted on 08.27.07 by itscrazydelicious @

Do you have trouble opening those chestnut shells? No problem here is what you do. Use the pointed end of the bottle opener that you have. You pierce the tops and the bottoms of them and then just boil them and you will have chestnuts without the shells. Just boil it for 10 minute and then you will be all set. My grandmother told me this tip and she is full of great stuff. I should really talk to her more because she is amazing in the kitchen!
