I just love Dr. Pepper. That is definately my soda of choice by all means. So here is a great recipe that I will be trying tonight…it is called Dr. Pepper Pralines. These look so easy to make so I am really hoping that I am right! Because if these come out good I have a anniversary party that I have to go to and I think these would go over really great as candies to munch on before the dinner. I am in charge of the little things before dinner…so this should be easy 1 cup granulated sugar In heavy saucepan mix together sugars and Dr. Pepper. Cook over low heat. stirring constantly until all sugar is dissolved, then cook stirring occasionally until soft ball stage (238 degrees F) is reached. Remove from heat, add marshmallows and nut meats together. Beat hard for 1 to 2 minutes until mixture starts to cream. Drop on wax paper in small balls, about 1 tablespoon at a time. They should flatten out around the edges leaving mound of nut meats in the center. I got this from Recipe Gold Mine Filed under: Desserts Comments: None |

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with Halloween sprinkles. Filed under: Desserts andKid Recipies Comments: None |

I found this on the internet and I had to try it…I messed up the first time but I got it right the second time and the kids love this!! Great Recipes online have so many super recipes and they are just so easy to make some of them. I am all for a challange sometimes but the simple recipes are obviously easier and sometimes cost less. Not to mention that they are really just as good as the fancy dishes or desserts. Try this one though..it is good! Here is a great halloween recipe called Royal Icing that I found at Britta.com. This one seems to be very easy to make and just dsounds delicious. But personally, anything with the word icing in it just sounds so sweet and yummy to me. This is the hard icing that can clue gingerbread houses together or create that hard icing looking on cookies or cakes. Makes enough to ice 5-6 dozen sugar cookies. 16 oz powdered sugar (icing sugar) Beat until peaks firmly hold their shape, and the more you beat it, the firmer it gets. This hardens when exposed to air, but dissolves in water, so keep a moist towel over the bowl while working with it. Use a tight-fitting plastic container to store in the refrigerator for a couple weeks, but the egg whites begin to separate from the sugar any longer than that. Filed under: Desserts Comments: None |
