I just love Dr. Pepper. That is definately my soda of choice by all means. So here is a great recipe that I will be trying tonight…it is called Dr. Pepper Pralines. These look so easy to make so I am really hoping that I am right! Because if these come out good I have a anniversary party that I have to go to and I think these would go over really great as candies to munch on before the dinner. I am in charge of the little things before dinner…so this should be easy 1 cup granulated sugar In heavy saucepan mix together sugars and Dr. Pepper. Cook over low heat. stirring constantly until all sugar is dissolved, then cook stirring occasionally until soft ball stage (238 degrees F) is reached. Remove from heat, add marshmallows and nut meats together. Beat hard for 1 to 2 minutes until mixture starts to cream. Drop on wax paper in small balls, about 1 tablespoon at a time. They should flatten out around the edges leaving mound of nut meats in the center. I got this from Recipe Gold Mine Filed under: Desserts Comments: None |
