I have found that when you are baking that it is just as easy and very cost effective to just spread and wipe your pans with a litttle piece of butter instead of having to spray it and buy and extra product to have the same results. I have always done this and it works just fine and the bake goods that you are baking will not stick to the pan either which is the whole point of greasing the pan with the butter! There is nothing worse than cooking and having things spatter all over you and the wall. And then you have to clean it up and sometimes those grease splatters can be quite tricky to clean up. Here is a great tip that really works for getting those tough grease stains off of your walls. Just put a little cornstarch on a damp cloth and rub in on the wall where the stain it. It should get it off in no time! Filed under: Cooking Tips Comments: None |

I would never cook with wine that I would not drink. Why cheap out on the wine you would cook with. It really does make a huge difference in the meal that you are making. I actually put a little wine in the basting of my turkey and every one just love my turkey. But I only use the red and white wine that I would drink at the table with it. I have used the cheap cooking wine but you can really tell the difference in the taste that is for sure! Filed under: Cooking Tips Comments: None |
