Ice On Ice Cream
Posted on 05.06.08 by itscrazydelicious @

This actually happened to me last night. I was looking forward to having a nice bowl of ice cream and all I got was a nice bowl of ice…yuck!! It is just so annoying to find all those ice crystals on your ice cream! So after you initially open your ice cream container besure to put and store it in a sealable plastic bag - this will eliminate those ice crystals from forming! No matter what time of year it is … ice cream is always a good snack!

Don’t Lick Your Fingers!
Posted on 03.25.08 by itscrazydelicious @

Do not lick your fingers when you are cooking. Not only is it really gross for the peopl that will be eating your food but you could be poisoning yourself. If you are dealing with chicken or raw eggs you could get salmonella. This can be easily avoided if you just restrain from the the fingers! And always wash your hands. You do not want to get everyone else sick and you just may. Just remember this - sometimes you just don’t think to so make a little sign to remind yourself. Get nice soap too - it will make you want to wash your hands.

Rose Petals
Posted on 03.16.08 by itscrazydelicious @

Have you ever thought about putting fresh rose petals on your wedding cake. My sister in law got married and they were all over the place. Her favorite flower is the pink rose - so they had them on the tables in the bowls and even on the cake. And of course that is what the little flower girls were throwing all over the place when they went down the aisle. The thing is that flower pedals are not even full flowers so if you want quality flowers but at very affordable prices that are well below the wholesale prices then you have to check out Fifty Flowers. They have the flowers that you need for your special occasion.

Generic Brands
Posted on 12.03.07 by itscrazydelicious @

There are somethings you can get away with when you are doing your grocery shopping when it comes to generic brands but then there are others that you just can not do. Like ice cream…I find that it ices up way too quick but pop tarts are top on my list. You can not get the generic pop tarts because they are just so incredibly discusting in my opinion!!! Pick and choose how you are going to save you food money!

Boxed Sugar Cookies
Posted on 11.27.07 by itscrazydelicious @

Do not ever buy boxed sugar cookie mixes….I have yet to find one that I like ever. I just made the most absolutely worst sugar cookies I have ever had in my life. You take a bit and they like crumble…it is just really gross. And I was going to this week get the ones that are the refrigerated kind but they didn’t have the cookie roll and the ones they had were the break apart kind and they were like $4 - forget that!

Washer Your Hands
Posted on 11.19.07 by itscrazydelicious @

I was a little disturbed the other day and decided to right about this because sometimes you may not realize you are not doing this. If you are cooking whether it is for yourself or if it is for your family…WASH YOUR HANDS!!! My sister came home from work and offered me a sandwich and I was very grateful for this because she makes pretty good sandwiches but she didn’t wash her hands and that really bothered me. Who knows what we was doing or touching at work and then she drove home in her car and there are just germs everywhere these days!! Wash your hands before you deal with your food!

Cooking Aprons
Posted on 11.16.07 by itscrazydelicious @

I did not wear a cooking apron one day when I was making something - I had forgotten that I said I was going to make and bring something in and I had to wake up early to make it and I think I ruined my nice blouse because I got grease on it. I am thinking it will come out because I realized I did it right away so it didn’t have time to set. That is why you should just always wear those cooking aprons and they have really cute ones for chirstmas time…I think I should go and order one!

Trouble Seperating Those Eggs
Posted on 10.25.07 by itscrazydelicious @

There are appliances and things on the market now that you can actually buy to seperate your eggs - the whites from the yolks. But perhaps you do not have this gadget or maybe you do but you can not find it or it is already dirty sitting in the dishwasher. Just take out a funnel you have and crack it down the funnel - the whites should just slide out and the yolk should stay in tact inside the funnel.
