Peanut Butter
Posted on 09.02.09 by itscrazydelicious @

There is nothing like having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It is really healthy for you and the kids love it. It is a great way to get that protein especially if your kids do not like to eat eggs for breakfast. And it is a great thing to stock up on since the jars of peanut butter last a little more than a year. I personally like peanut butter and jam but that is just me :)

Chocolate Milk
Posted on 06.30.09 by itscrazydelicious @

I get whole milk for my kids because it is recommended from my pediatrian and most doctors. However, i will put a little chocolate syrup in it…no problem right? I don’t think it is but 18% of mothers things that chocolate milk does not cound as milk. What are they thinking? Of course it counts as milk! Why wouldn’t it…it is milk with a little chocolate syrup in it. Some people are just crazy – because that is ridiclous.

Mr. Breakfast has a great breakfast idea for you called the Breakfast Tree. I have yet to try this one but it sounds interesting and rather tasty. When I try this one I will update the post – it sounds very fattening…but yeah…it’s the holidays right :) I know it is now reason but oh well….

2 pkgs. refrigerated crescent rolls
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 oz. cream cheese
1 c. confectioners’ sugar
Red and green sugar
1 tsp. grated orange peel
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice 2 packages of crescent rolls (do not unroll) into 11 equal pieces and flatten. On ungreased cookie sheet, arrange 10 pieces into a triangle to form tree. Use last piece to make trunk. Combine butter, sugar, and grated orange peel; brush on dough. Bake 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cream the cream cheese with powdered sugar and orange juice. Brush on baked rolls and sprinkle with red and green sugar.
