I just love to make sookie and making cookies from scratch are just so incredibly good! Just be sure that you cream the sugar and the shortening as well - it is the most important part of getting that great tasting cookies. And after you are done and they have baked leave them on the baking sheet just a little longer because they are actually still cooking.
