This is a great tip that has saved me so much time cleaning. If you have a terrible messy pan that you know will take you either 3 hours to scrub or a week to soak it out. Then here is what you do. You go do a load of laundry and dry it and use that fabric softener. Take the sheet when you are done and put it in the pan filled with water. After an hours of it soaking it will be a breeze to clean. I don’t use a new softener sheet because I figure … why waist one!
