I don’t know why but I just felt like having something with raisin in it. So I went searching for htat great raisin recipe that is completely different from what I usually make and here is what I found. I found this at Group Recipes and it is called Raisin Sauce which is great with pork chops!!

2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp flour
1 c beef stock
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c blanched almonds, crushed
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp horseradish

Melt the butter, whisk in the flour to make a roux.
Add stock and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Add remaining ingredients, and reduce to 3/4 c. (or more, if a thicker sauce is preferred)
