I actually really do love Grape Nuts..not so much when I was a little kid but I have acquired the taste and I actually like them.. So, I am venturing out to try to make my own homemade grape nuts and I have found a recipe. I got this from Hugs.org 7 c Whole wheat flour 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 6 13×9x2″ pans. 2. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt. Add buttermilk, butter, vanilla and maple flavoring, if desired. Spread into baking pans. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool; break up and process in processor until pieces are small. 3. Reduce oven to 250°. Return cereal to pans and bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes, or until light brown and crisp. Store airtight. Filed under: Breakfast Comments:
